Project Overview
The project was executed during a two-month summer shutdown window and encompassed multiple construction and retrofit activities. The scope of work included hazardous material abatement in accordance with regulatory requirements, structural reinforcement of existing joists to address load capacity, and targeted masonry restoration. Interior upgrades consisted of the complete removal and replacement of classroom millwork to meet current performance and durability standards. Additionally, a new barrier-free washroom was constructed to comply with accessibility codes and Ontario Building Code requirements.
